| 395523 | 2005-10-12 07:31:00 | Amazing - I just loaded four Cd's onto my iPod and all four listed the names after checking with the database online - CBBD or something like that. Must write down the name next time ! Then I came to load a CD by Midge Marsden and Bulldog Rata (heartland and veteran Kiwi singers to those who might not know). I thought that I would have to write in the song titles for sure - but no, they were all listed for me - so little work !!. Again - amazing !! Misty :D |

| 395525 | 2005-10-12 08:08:00 | I might have to check out some more Midge Marsden. Are the other songs as good as Burning Rain? Just had a quick skip throught to try to answer your question Greven. Based on that I particularly like "Give me one reason" (written by Tracey Chapman); Mystery Train; Diggin my potatoes"; Last Time (written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards - who you may have heard of !); Stranger Girl. They all have a rough charm - but then I am always a sucker for harmonica and good guitar. Always helps to have heard them sitting on the Tauranga waterfront listening to them (while on the third glass of wine) playing for paying customers on the "Kestrel" paddle -steamer ( at the time of the jazz festival). You may have to arrange to hear them to decide as I am of Scots heritage and spent $30 - a fortune ! - so may be prejudiced. cheers Misty ;) |
