| 395504 | 2005-10-12 06:03:00 | I sold my ipod nano to somebody at trademe. At the installation I put the name of the ipod nano under my name. Now the buyer says that the ipod nano is under my name and unable to get rid of it. Does anybody know how he can get rid of the name and reregister the ipod nano under his name? |

| 395509 | 2005-10-12 08:49:00 | I sold my ipod nano to somebody at trademe. snip Ninjabear - off topic I know, but what was your reason for selling it? My daughter is going overseas and wants an iPod but not the biggie - she wants either a Shuffle (which I think is too small) or a Nano. As it is likely it will come out of my wallet, I would like to know whether you sold it in disgust, or for some other reason! Thanks. John (hope you have solved the problem - sorry I couldn't help). |

| 395511 | 2005-10-12 09:17:00 | There have been no reports of the cracked screens reaching new zealand, and apple have put it down to a manufactoring fault in a batch of them.Easily scratched screens are a different issue again, another downfall of them is the headphone jack is at the bottom of the nano. There have been reports of a new ipod range been released tonight at sometime.. |

There have been reports of a new ipod range been released tonight at sometime.. Thanx Speedy and (i)plod. I had heard about the cracked screens, and the appalling initial reaction from Apple when people dared to question their manufacturing standards. How dare they suggest Apple got something wrong! I couldn't quite believe their stupid reaction, and I am a Mac fan! However, I understand that this has been corrected (the initial fault and the silly reaction). I wonder what will be different with the new ipod range. I have heard rumours about them bringing out a range that will do video. Thanks again. I hope I am not hijacking this thread... |
