ok, what you must understand that the us is a very religious nation, jewish and christian alike, its like islamic and buddhist opinions, just because they reinforce an argument with a view that a higher being doesnt make it any less credible. people do it all the time. thats just bible bashing. No atomic weapons in iran??? they admitted they had a nuclear programme dip****. Do you think that because of extra vigilance on the subways is intended to AVERT A POSSIBLE ATTACK, ARMED MEN vs Bomber = NO ATTACK USUALLY, and the general concensus in iraq is that they WANTED Saddam gone, he was a brutal tyrannical dictator who ruled for over 30 years, the people whom the us are fighting are radical insurgents vying for control of iraq like the taleban did in afghanistan in 1996, except they are facing resistance this time. the majority of deaths are NOT FROM IRAQI POPULATION either.

395319 2005-10-11 05:10:00 Hmm ... well Tux the person who you just replied to asked for his post to be retracted. It is obviously a hot topic and can be personal. Let's not get riled up over this and there is no need to make it personal. Thanks. :) Jen (38)

395321 2005-10-11 05:22:00 Marvellous how the point of the article is missed.
The point was and is ,that it is ok to slag off Christians all you like but don't mention the war, oops sorry, the Muslims.
This is quite prevalent in the press. Both Steyn and I would like to know why.

395323 2005-10-11 05:26:00 I saw it before it was removed and didn't seem anything remotely controversial or outrageous or even very interesting.Well the person who posted it felt strongly enough about it to ask that it be retracted. So I did. Nothing to get excited over, cows catch fire everyday. ;) Jen (38)
395324 2005-10-11 05:29:00 OK Jen fair enough. Shall avoid cows in future. :D mark c (247)

Excuse me while I hijack this thread for a sec.

Jen, I'm fascinated by that saying. Never heard of it. Neither has the rest of the world, apparently.
Googled it & came up with 2 links; both to...er... pcworld.co.nz

Where does that come from.
Burger King reference, perhaps?
