Tool - Die Eire Von Satan (a song that sounds like a nazi rally set to musical machinary, but is actualy a recipe for hash balls said somewhat emotionally in german)

Just started:
Blyth Power - Bricklayers Arms

394364 2005-10-20 21:19:00 How do you find that?
I was introduced to that CD by an old girlfriend who once used to have rude dreams about Trent Reznor (the brains behind NIN)

Both of us agree that "with teeth" is a very unappropriatly named CD, and neither of us have found anything that has sufficiant teeth to stand the test of time, not even say a week :(

Don't get me wrong, i like a lot of NIN, "Hurt" still sends shivers up my spine, particually the version Johny Cash put out that became Johnys own epitaph.

I suspect that now that Trent has finished going mad, had councilling, and made peace with himself, he can't draw from the emotional intensity it took to create the earlier NIN stuff.

It's not bad - my first NIN album. I got it because I really liked "The Hand That Feeds". I haven't listened to it much yet (time issue), but much of what I've heard is good. There are a few that are just a bit too incoherent, but overall, not a bad album.

Agree with you about "Hurt" - I heard the Johnny Cash version first, then found out later that it was NIN original - haven't heard their version yet. I might have to look up their older stuff...

394365 2005-10-20 22:00:00 On Live 365 Radio Dismuke, they just played Cab Calloways version of 'Nagasaki'

Here are the lyrics:

From Don Redman and His Orchestra, 1931-1933; The Chronogical Classics 543.

Hot gingerbread and dynamite,
Boy, I drink nothing but that each night,
Back in Nagasaki where the fellows chew tobaccky
And the women wicky-wacky-woo!

Aw, man, how they entertain,
I mean, they hurry a hurricane.
Back in Nagasaki where the fellows chew tobaccky
And the women wicky-wacky-woo!

Fujiama, got a mama,
Then your troubles increase, boy!
It's a bottle in a, bottle in a, bottle in a, bottle in a, bottle in a
Nagasaki!

They hug and kiss each night,
By jingo, boys, worth that price!
Back in Nagasaki where the fellows chew tobaccky
And the women wicky-wacky-woo!

Back in Nagasaki where the fellows chew tobaccky
And the women wicky-wacky-woo!

The original Don Redman version can be heard here, though quality is not good:

They don't write lyrics like that any more. What's that, did I hear "Thank god" ? Be careful you don't get smote :)

That series is great. I'm just waiting for someone to get arrested in real life for imitating FPS Doug.
