Sites such as Expert-Exchange where you pay for membership, can still have anyone who thinks they know what they are talking about giving advice with the resulting variance in quality or accuracy. | 395142 | 2005-10-13 22:24:00 | I charge more when people have unreasonable expectations :) But seriously- there are computer techs (who I assume do it for a living) on here that know a hell of a lot more than I do. You may get differences of opinion and the odd 'ego' thrown in, but I actually value those different opinions more because they are given freely without thought to how much might be whacked onto the bill at the end. For my humble part, I actually feel good when I've managed to help someone and I guess most people on here do it for the same altruistic reasons. |
