| 394340 | 2005-10-14 19:58:00 | Just picked up the latest Disturbed album, No idea why, I hate all this down-tuned nu-metal loser garbage. Aint to bad though. Is this the 10,000 Fists album? I got some songs from this album via Limewire... :) I'm listening to Megaherz-Liebestoter at the moment. |

Aint to bad though.That genre always reminds me of an old friend who used to spend each weekend getting appallingly drunk while being driven round the town between partys and bars, and be singing/screaming along to Disturbed, SOAD, and that sort of thing. I was her sober chauffer, and witness to all manner of things to open up the mind. :D The huge drumming in "Aenima" and "Third Eye" always brings back fond memorys Ah.. them was the days! :p |

The key tools of industrial music have always been effective use of a sampler, and "dirty as" guitar. Voice and real drums seem to be just optional extras. While time has bought the refinement of styles and equipment, this is one genre that has allways been, and can only be "hi tech" ;) Hmmm.. New Rammstein ey? Garenteed to be either really funny and/or really grunty. I use "Duhast" to test the dynamic performance of the sound systems i work with. If i'm happy with both the way the quiet little synth noise at the start is reproduced, and the way the following massive wall of guitar noize suddenly smacks me round the ears, then i know the system will take anything a live band mixed my me can give it. :eek: |

| 394345 | 2005-10-14 21:34:00 | Can't say I like artificial music, Distorting it all to hell with a computer,cutting it up and re-arenging it,looping ,sampling, adding computer generated beeps, effects, Tuning the vocals,....ugh....Sounds like the last craptallica album that came out. | Metla (12) | ||
| 394346 | 2005-10-14 21:53:00 | the best trance is without the vocals.... | Prescott (11) | ||
| 394347 | 2005-10-14 22:06:00 | the best trance is without the vocals.... True. I agree. Its pretty annoying when listen to the words being repeated over and over on some trances... |
