A virus scanner will pick it up as a virus because of the coding of the file, in a way I suppose it is a virus, but its not malicious, it just turns you screen upside down. Typically when someone thinks of a virus they think of a malicious file that destroys your PC, but that's not always the case, it can be a file the alters a setting on your PC, sometimes its a major setting change and can be dangerous, or in this case it can alter the resolution of your screen and turn it upside down, any file that alters a windows setting on your PC without your say so will be picked up as a virus never mind what the file actually does. But in this case its not a malicious virus, its not really even a virus, but a virus scanner will still pick it up as a virus because of the coding. I can assure you all the file does is turn your screen upside down, nothing else. I have renamed the download to "upside down screen" so people no what to expect, the name bad day was a little misleading... |

It's good to see you showing some responsibility on this matter as no matter how trivial it may seem to experienced users, a file detected by a virus scanner as a "virus" should always be taken seriously otherwise you may as well not have an AV program. |
