395782 2005-10-14 08:51:00 I have read your blog's Edward, along with your hatred of mac's and the people that use them, that was stated quite clearly!
Why do you bother to try and contribute to stuff you for don't like and two don't understand.
From my understanding your not far out of nappies, so your opinions mean squat.

I don't give a flying fig about what you think. If you don't like what I write, either here, my personal website or some other forum then the answer is simple. Don't read it. I don't hate everyone who uses a mac. Heck, some of my best friends use them. The only mac users I hate are the obnoxious ones who seem to think that their horribly overpriced jewelery is gods gift, and anyone who says otherwise must either be thick, have verbal diarrhoea, work for microsoft or all of the above. And judging from your 900 posts you seem to fit these criteria. Congratulations. The only thing stopping me buying an iPod is users like you. Well done, you really have confirmed that mac users are a warm and inviting bunch, completly open minded and willing to accept new ideas.

I never intended to get involved in this thread. I know that whenever I step into a mac-head party bad things happen. However in this case there was a user who wanted to get away from windows. Instead of buying a whole new computer, I did what any good person would and pointed them towards dostrowatch. at least with Knoppix/Ubuntu live/Mandrak move/whatever you can test without any worries, and it's free. But you couldn't take that. Oooh no. So you make the connection that using Xandros is like eating out of the garbage.

That my friend is a prine example of trying to "contribute to stuff you don't understand". Aside from you being a hypocrite, you also seem to not like what I publish on various websites. If you don't like it, fine. As I stated before (It would seem you need to be told multiple times) don't read it. If you feel the urge to contradict yourself again and "read [my] blog" that contains "opinions [that mean] squat", give me your IP address and I'll block you off at htaccess leval. If you don't feel fine with posting it on a forum PM it to me. I won't have to deal with your complaining ang you won't have to read my opinions.

Anywho, I must be off to my "crap" world giving helpful advice to people. Ooops, I forgotted, I'm just our of diapers, how can that possibly be true

395783 2005-10-14 09:05:00 Boys, boys, boys ... can we just leave it alone

Resign yourself that each has a different opinion and respect that. No point bashing it to death.

395784 2005-10-14 10:46:00 Edward, your spelling is dreadful, next time take a breath you might hit the right key's. plod (107)

I don't recall saying I don't like Macs, and I reserve judgment on the people that use them till I meet them.... Sure I was teasing a bit with my first post in this thread, but the point made was actually on the side of OS X... it's much cheaper to purchase than windows (which is a good thing).

I only ment defend the OSS offerings by pointing out that your logic was flawed, while at the same time advancing your general and ongoing point that OS X has advantages over other Operating Systems.

My comments were directed to Edward, he had stated in his own blog about the dislike of certain member's of this forum, because they used mac's,. I'm pretty sure he might of even named them

Hey Plod, ever heard of the saying "People in glasshouses shouldn't throw stones"?

Edward may have made a couple of typos or three but at least he doesn't insist on wrongly putting an apostrophe before nearly every "s" at the end of a word like you do .

And if that is not annoying enough you fail to put apostrophes in when they should be there so why don't you just leave them all out altogether and get it half wrong some of the time instead of totally wrong all of the time? Your Mac rantings would become a lot more enjoyable to read then .

If you are keen to improve your literacy read up on this page ( . wsu . edu/~brians/errors/apostrophes1 . html" target="_blank">www . wsu . edu) .

And another thing while I am here: it is "he might have even named them" not "he might of even named them" . See this page ( . wsu . edu/~brians/errors/couldof . html" target="_blank">www . wsu . edu) for proper usage .

Now give me those stones while you go and do your lines . I like smashing glass .
