395514 2005-10-12 09:49:00 Certain member's of this forum had doubts wether the ipod would go the distance as far as sale's and popularity go. It's just been reported that they have had a 220percent growth in ipods since this time last year, so I think they art around to stay for a while plod (107)
395515 2005-10-12 11:19:00 Ninjabear - off topic I know, but what was your reason for selling it? My daughter is going overseas and wants an iPod but not the biggie - she wants either a Shuffle (which I think is too small) or a Nano. As it is likely it will come out of my wallet, I would like to know whether you sold it in disgust, or for some other reason!

Thanks. John (hope you have solved the problem - sorry I couldn't help).

I just didn't like the sound quality of nano and shuffles. They don't have much bass in them.
I think I'll try out the creative zen neeon.I believe people just hyped the name up just like sony did.People believe having an Ipod or a Sony product is pride of joy and feel that its the best but i just don't find the ipods really that good

395516 2005-10-12 11:25:00 I've yet to seen a good mp3 player.Apparently im still using my mp3 sony cd player. It has very deep bass but when I used the newer models for sony cd players such as DNe920,DNE900,DNE720,DNE800 and mp3 player NWHD5,NWE507 sony has decided to put more treble than bass. There's just hardly any bass with these new players.Almost the bass sound is gone. All you hear is 95% treble 5% bass.Disaster!!!
