395326 2005-10-11 07:42:00 Well the person who posted it felt strongly enough about it to ask that it be retracted. So I did. Nothing to get excited over, cows catch fire everyday. ;)

Do we pour petrol over cows? I have no idea how cows catch fire. You can enlighten me on that being as you are perfect.

Huh?
That's more confusing than the spontaneous cow-combustion.

395328 2005-10-11 07:48:00 It's nothing to get upset about peeps. It's simply a reference to the popular BBQ culture in Austalasia. HTH........m mark c (247)
395329 2005-10-11 07:54:00 Jen, I'm fascinated by that saying. Never heard of it. Neither has the rest of the world, apparently.
Googled it & came up with 2 links; both to...er... pcworld.co.nz

Where does that come from.
Burger King reference, perhaps?I picked it up from one of the original Moderators of PF1, Robo. He used to come out with it and it sort of just stuck in my mind ... (as things do :p)

Which reminds me - did anyone ever figure out the cubic capacity of the cow? :D

395331 2005-10-11 08:35:00 I read that article Cicero and all seemed like whining codswallap to me. Religuous nutters regardless of their persuasion are all the same, all religious nutters. Be honest with yourself. If you were born and bred in Iran or Pakistan or any other Muslim country wouldn't you be a Muslim? Because that's how you were brought up? It has everything to do with one's culture and nothing to do with any "truth".

It's time we all outgrew this "Oh big flashes in the sky, Odabagowija is pissed off with us because we killed the goat," and learnt to take responsibility for our own actions.

Mumbo jumbo is mumbo jumbo regardelss of which culture it comes from.

395332 2005-10-11 09:09:00 Don't you hate it Tom - interesting article and what happens? We argue over a removed comment.

Well I thought Steyn had a good point. In fact it is one we have made here ourselves.
