| 394384 | 2005-10-08 23:56:00 | I think this is a question alot of users of Firefox who arent that computer savy (myself included) maybe asking..... I'm using firefox 1.0.7. Is it worth me downloading/updating to the 1.5 beta just yet or should i wait?. |

| 394385 | 2005-10-09 00:28:00 | BETA means that this build may have bugs and be unstable. However I have found both BETA 1 and 2 to be reasonably stable. So it's worth upgrading to BETA 2 if you are interested to see what new features firefox will offer. However it is not worth upgrading if you don't want to deal will the occasional bug or slight problem. For what it's worth, Ive only noticed to problems with BETA 1, and that is problems with Windows Media Player clips freezing Firefox on the TVNZ website, and the process firefox.exe remaining after I've closed all Firefox windows. |

| 394387 | 2005-10-09 02:41:00 | I've been using it all day and had no probs. It does seem to be loading pages fast even though I had pipelining and other stuff tweaked in 1.0... If you're 'not too savvy' and the previous version is doing good no point in changing just yet... unless of course that little red guy is jumping up and down and screaming :D |
