| 672863 | 2008-05-26 21:56:00 | Hi, I am using OE 7 downloaded and installed on D drive (a partition of the only h/d in this pooter) but I apppear to have not uninstalled v6 from Cdrive beforehand. I see wnen I fire up Outlook Express, the desktop Icon comes up as v6 when it should be v7 O K I can use it quite O K, but when I come to delete the v6 from C drive and install v7 Icon in it's place I keep getting "OE is being used, shut it down first", but I don't appear to be able to shut it down to delete, and if necessary re download, and re install v7 so as to have my D drive the drive to work from with v7 Icon on the desktop Can anyone help- there is no panic, as I said, everything works beautifully- it is only cosmetic:wub effie c |

| 672864 | 2008-05-26 21:58:00 | There is no OE 7, it stays at 6. And you cant remove IE 6. Its part of XP's install. There's a IE7 not OE 7 (which is Outlook) |
