| 672597 | 2008-05-26 06:47:00 | Hi there, Have some friends at home whose computer I had put AVG 7.0 on, as beforehand they were using Windows Live Onecare. Point is I got an email from them as they have got an alert regarding the upgrading, and the strong wording about updating has them nervous. They are on dialup so a straight download is not wanted obviously. Also I have heard bad things about AVG trying to upsell if you do a direct download. What I was wondering is does the latest PC World have AVG 8 on the cover DVD? I do not have time to get to a mahazine shop in the next wee while and ideally I can just tell them to buy the magazine. Otherwise it will be me downloading and posting to them on a cd. Cheers in advance, GorCh |

| 672599 | 2008-05-26 08:02:00 | If it's 7.5 that they are using, tell them to stick with it as it will be supported with virust database updates till 31 December in spite of the notice saying 31 May.
