673692 2008-05-29 09:09:00 Yello, I am having a problem viewing Youtube,a message is displayed on the site saying either javascript is turned off or Flash viewer is out of date.
I have installed the latest viewer and script s are enabled.
Any ideas? cheers, TIA

Also try clearing your internet cache and have you tried uninstalling Flash & reinstalling it?

673695 2008-05-29 10:26:00 1. Download the uninstaller from Adobe.com
2. Download the installer from Adobe.com
3. Close Firefox
4. Run the uninstaller, then the installer
5. Open Firefox

make sure that u have administrator privileges, run the installer and installer as administrator

673699 2008-05-29 13:32:00 That's weird. I had the exact same problem (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz) recently. Then suddenly it fixed itself!!! :stare: Greg (193)
673700 2008-05-30 09:51:00 thanks for the replies, had the same as Greg, will try the suggestions i haven't done allready when i get back on Windows, am having a look around Ubuntu at the moment and viewed the videos once i'd installed Flash on it, cheers Whenu (9358)
673701 2008-05-30 11:37:00 If you're using the 'NoScript' extension for firefox, make sure it's not blocking the youtube code!

(Or if you have any other adblock etc that may be interfering)
