2008-05-29 09:31:00 | Is it only timing out when downloading email?? Is it fine any other time (like when theyre browsing)?? What antivirus program is installed? It maybe this if its got an email scanner, in it. It could be timing out, when the scanner is scanning email

2008-05-29 09:38:00 | No prob. I would say to get rid of it and install avast, but that'll take a while on dialup (its 21mb) ! | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
2008-05-29 20:01:00 | The mention of the word "Norton" is normally the start of any problem. | Bantu (52) | |
2008-05-29 21:10:00 | TS seems to be working fine, and also has some of the best customer service in the country. :) I see nortons causing email scanning issues with dial up all the time, especially with older/slower PCs. If it does continue to cause problems, try increasing the timeout to 2 mins or something. Where in Nelson/Tasman are you?

2008-05-30 07:26:00 | If you have broadband you could download avast yourself then save the exe file to install on their computer. Then you would not need Nortons | gary67 (56) | |
