397709 2005-10-19 20:13:00 Does this have anything to do with adolescence and girl to woman maturity passages?...Just don't want to get into an X-rated post here.

I know about sparkplug gaps, tooth gaps, the Cumberland Gap, the World-Trade Gap, and GAP the cartoon character...but this one evades me.

397711 2005-10-19 20:36:00 I know that on the Tube in London they have a little voice that says ..... "Mind the gap. Mind the gap. Mind the gap".

I thought it was a purely practical message, but perhaps it was, after all, a philosophical one?

397712 2005-10-20 01:41:00 Isn't Gap one of the expensive "fashion houses"? In which case, the rail company didn't want you to get your clothes caught in the doors. Graham L (2)

397714 2005-10-20 02:02:00 Ok, as this isn't being taken seriously, it's all to do with North and South.

In between north and south is an imaginary lion running around the middle of the Earth. (Will Hay)

To the north of the lion reside the rich, and to the south live the poor, such as those in New Zealand, otherwise known as Third-Worlders.
