395822 2005-10-13 16:42:00 The monthly allowance covers data sent (uploaded) to the Internet or received (downloaded) from the Internet.

395823 2005-10-13 18:12:00 I upload to Other PEOPLE but not to the Internet. Are these the same?

Also it says that if i do Exceed the Monthly Allowance then there is no need to worry. Does this mean that I wont hav to pay?

Thnx ;)

395824 2005-10-13 18:28:00 You cannot upload to other people without using the Internet. The "internet" is what facilitates all data transfer between computers not on your home network. Sending and receiving emails uses the internet etc.

According to NTL's policy it says this:
In the event that you exceed the usage allowances applicable to your Internet Services, we reserve the right (at our sole discretion) to reduce, suspend or terminate your Internet Services. During any period of reduction or suspension, you will remain liable for the payment of your Internet Services charges at the original level. We also reserve the right (at our sole discretion) to re-grade your Internet Services to a different speed and/or usage allowance at the appropriate charge. - see here (www.home.ntl.com).

All this information is clearly stated on their website. :)
