| 673816 | 2008-05-30 05:11:00 | Any hard drive can become fragmented so yes you should defrag... but with NAS the program for it should automatically defrag for you. If you've got a lot of files on it and it's taking a long time to do a scan (I suspect you mean virus scan?) then that's just normal. more files = more time Otherwise if it doesn't auto-defrag then you may need to do it manually from in the software |
