| 673704 | 2008-05-29 09:17:00 | Since installing SP3 on XP, I notice a couple of extra lines in the HijackThis log: O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {e2e2dd38-d088-4134-82b7-f2ba38496583} - %windir%\Network Diagnostic\xpnetdiag.exe (file missing) O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: @xpsp3res.dll,-20001 - {e2e2dd38-d088-4134-82b7-f2ba38496583} - %windir%\Network Diagnostic\xpnetdiag.exe (file missing) The "file missing" doesn't look good. Should one delete these two items, or find the missing file and install it, or whatever? Also, the following one is new, and another case of the file missing? O20 - Winlogon Notify: dimsntfy - %SystemRoot%\System32\dimsntfy.dll (file missing) Anything that needs to be tidied up here, do you think? |
