673704 2008-05-29 09:17:00 Since installing SP3 on XP, I notice a couple of extra lines in the HijackThis log:

O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {e2e2dd38-d088-4134-82b7-f2ba38496583} - %windir%\Network Diagnostic\xpnetdiag.exe (file missing)
O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: @xpsp3res.dll,-20001 - {e2e2dd38-d088-4134-82b7-f2ba38496583} - %windir%\Network Diagnostic\xpnetdiag.exe (file missing)

The "file missing" doesn't look good. Should one delete these two items, or find the missing file and install it, or whatever?

Also, the following one is new, and another case of the file missing?

O20 - Winlogon Notify: dimsntfy - %SystemRoot%\System32\dimsntfy.dll (file missing)

Anything that needs to be tidied up here, do you think?

673705 2008-05-29 09:27:00 Dont worry about the xpnetdiag.exe entries, they belong to the diagnose connection prob addon.

Dont worry about dimsntfy.dll either.

Its probably HJT, since SP3 is new, (HJT isnt), and it doesnt know what they are
