| 673401 | 2008-05-28 10:50:00 | Using windows mail on vista. I set up 2 accounts, created 2 new folders, one for work messages the other for home, created 2 rules to filter messages that come from orcon account. I have an xtra account (work) that forwards messages to gmail (xtra's spam filtering doesn't exist) At gmail it gets filtered & forwarded to the orcon account, then downloaded together with the home messages to my home computer that filters the messages to the appropriate folders. A copy of the messages is left on gmail & orcon. If I reply or forward from the non default email account, it wants to send the message from the default account. How can I change it to appear to send the message from whichever account folder I'm in. I can do it with thunderbird, but that's giving grief with it's updating & going into endless loops. |

That way you don't send an email from the wrong address & don't have to remember to manually select. It's handy if you don't want people, ie. customers, to know your private email address Thunderbird's got a bug in it that sends it into an endless software update loop. I'm using vista so I presume it's something to do with it |
