| 674425 | 2008-06-01 01:28:00 | Have just upgraded from Win 98 to Vista Home. Only problem I have is with my Canon 630 Scanner. Have loaded the old driver and the device manager, under imaging says it is working properly, but my photo programs cannot find it as a Twain device. Tried to download a more recent driver, but looks like Canon have not update it for this model. Is this a 16 bits versus 32 problem or is there a way I get it to function on Vista. Looked at the archives and this has been a common problem is the past, but the website remedy given does not seen to be active anymore. Any help will be much appreciated |

| 674426 | 2008-06-01 02:22:00 | Get XP - you will have more luck with drivers as a lot of 3rd party hardware suppliers are not bothering to write drivers for Vista. I take it you have checked this site? www.usa.canon.com |
