398605	2005-10-24 08:53:00	Well, seeing as we are still on subject.. I'll try and keep my story short. I quit Orcon as an ISP in January (gaming latency the main reason). They are still charging me for a service I haven't received for 10 months. The bill is several hundred dollars now. I have been threatened with disconnection of my UBS service, which I don't have anyway. I have emailed them, several times. I got a nasty letter with threat of debt recovery action, with a phone number to ring - which was an answerphone. I left a message. I now get threatened with court action. I can't wait for the hearing. I don't detest Orcon as much as Jack does Telecom, I just see them as the underdogs who got too big for their own capacity.	Jester (13)
398606	2005-10-24 09:06:00	Remember we are talking 12 years ago. My first taste of internet. How would I know that selecting "unlimited" meant I wanted "limited". Only a company like Telecom would act that way. I think I was entitled to assume they were honest. For crying out loud Jack! 12 Years? Let it go man, there's not enough days left in anybody's life to do all the good things they want, let alone waste time grieving over what was probably a simple mistake. All you do is wake up the bottom-feeders and set up another round of ritual Telecom bashing, and there is no more futile and pointless exercise than that. There was nothing dishonest in what happened, it was poor copywriting perhaps, and shonky admin, but it was just an Erk at the bottom of the heap you were dealing with and they wouldn't give a toss what plan you had. Complainers are a minority group, and the majority enjoy good service. I've had nothing but good experiences with Telecom, so what's dishonest about that? Or does honesty come into it at all? They have happily shifted my details around the country at my request, solved many small OE type problems for me in the beginning and generally been rather nice people. Have a nice day.	Scouse (83)
