| 398058 | 2005-10-25 03:16:00 | Yes well, I had thought I had managed to enforce how important the use of a string line and a level was when it came to fence building. It turns out I had actually convinced them that the art consisted of 1. Waiting till no one was looking 2. Nailing up the timbers as fast as possible without checking any levels or measurements 3. Making a beeline for the work wagon and scarpering as fast as possible 4. Deciding that since they had done such a hard day and finished well before knock off they might as well just go home early The follow up consisted claims that when they left the fence was dead straight. Whats worse is I got the same 2 idiots in to help me with the new stormwater, which they managed to lay uphill, so water now runs towards the house...... |
