MM2 yup gets installed with XP, I think SP2 installs a later version You can download a separate updated version, but thats only for Vista not XP Also, with MM2 (and maybe other programs), is once you transfer from a cam with firewire (if it uses tape), once you edit it, you can also transfer the edited version back to the tape... For a desktop, you'll need something like this (www.dse.co.nz) For a laptop, if its got a Cardbus slot (www.dse.co.nz) something like this |

| 674503 | 2008-06-05 01:21:00 | Thanks Speedy those search items produce the results. Do I need a cardbus if a controller is showing up under the IEEE 1394 Bus Host Controllers in Device Manager? | tuiruru (12277) | ||
| 674504 | 2008-06-05 01:32:00 | No it must have firewire on it, if its got IEEE 1394 Bus Host Controllers in device manager. Look on the side of it somewhere. There must be a firewire connection on it somewhere. All you need is a firewire cable, that fits it and the cam |
