674453 2008-06-01 04:27:00 In the DVD RAM drive (E) if I right click and open its blank toodles (13818)
674454 2008-06-01 04:47:00 This time, please answer *all* the questions:

Do you have more than one optical drive (a drive you can put CDs/DVDs into)?

Was the disk in the drive when you did the 'right-click>>open' thing?

Try this with a different disk in the drive - what do you see now?

If you try the 'right-click>>open' thing on another PC (with the 'cars' disk, and then with another disk), what do you see?

674455 2008-06-01 04:59:00 Sorry I wasn't aware I hadn't answered all what you had asked I will try to. OK with another game in the hard drive and right clicking and in open there is 20 items including autorunx 3 ,Demo,Directx9, movies, pdf manual, set up x 5,
set up boot and setup skin, and some games, I think thats about all. And only one optical drive. Yes I did have the cars disc in before when it was blank thanks.

674456 2008-06-01 05:08:00 Can you please try the cars disk in another PC (note this needs to be one with a DVD drive)? This is the third time someone has asked you to do this, unless you test it elsewhere we can't diagnose it fully.

Judging from your above answers, I can see two possible issues. Either: The disk is damaged
-or-
Your optical drive laser is stuffed and cannot read DVDs

Was the second game disk you tried (the one that worked) a CD or a DVD?

674457 2008-06-01 05:21:00 WEll no I can't really try it in another pc not for a few days. The first dvd did exactly the same that was why I had it replaced thinking that it was the dvd.so neither of the cars dvd has worked like I said both have done the same thing. I purchased a spongbob game not so long ago but never had any probs with that one. toodles (13818)
674458 2008-06-01 05:23:00 Was the second game disk you tried (the one that worked) a CD or a DVD?

Note that it's not unheard of to have an entire batch of bad disks, although it is rare.

674459 2008-06-01 05:25:00 So is there nothing else I can try?? toodles (13818)
674460 2008-06-01 05:31:00 Well I've run out of ideas, but answering my question would help:

Was the second game disk you tried (the one that worked) a CD or a DVD?
If it was a CD, try the same thing with a DVD - if it dowsn't work, then your DVD laser is probably stuffed.

If the second disk was a DVD, then your cars disk is probably faulty.
