675406 2008-06-04 04:28:00 Hi there,

I have a Wireless connection whereby every (about) three minutes I get lag for about 10 seconds. I play CoD4 online and this obviously gets rather frustrating.
I have a D-Link DWL-G122 Wireless USB Adaptor - www.d-link.ca and a Linksys WAG54 "Wireless Gateway".

When first connecting I used the software that came with the USB Adaptor and what searching I've done regarding this, seems to point to me that this is the correct procedure rather than use Windows? I may well be wrong.

I apologise in advance if I haven't put down all the information that you need. Please advise me what other info it is and I'll do my best to tell you.

Thanks in advance.

675408 2008-06-04 04:31:00 Thanks for the quick response Speedy. So that's it? I should just use the chord from now on if playing online? nataS (13578)
675409 2008-06-04 04:33:00 Yup, I would use the ethernet cable. You'll probably stay on longer and wont lag as much (or at all) Speedy Gonzales (78)
