If anyone can find one I will be eternally greatful!

Asus Z5 series notebook. Model Z53E. Asus driver autodetect takes me to the wrong laptop, and the driver it recommends doesn't work.

Thanks for that - when I get the laptop back the next step was going to be Ubuntu and figure out exactly what the chipset is, thats probably going to be the right one. Cheers.

You know its not listed on ASUS website as a Z anything. Its a F something. My friends brother bought one and they discovered that.

Ring their 0800 number and ask them.

There is a section for the Z53E, but there are no drivers in it.

Might give Asus a bell, cheers.
