| 675252 | 2008-06-03 08:11:00 | My laptop was fine untill I loaded Kaspreski 7 Virus scanner this morning Now when I turn on my Laptop it loads up to the Windows XP Pro login screen and asks for a password. I have owned this for 5 years and never been asked for a password.I don't know what the password is. I have tried esc enter and and other numbers but to no avail. I have been into safemode and all is ok untill I come to the windows log in screen. When I cannot put in the correct password the only options are to close down PC and afer it closes and reopens its back to the Windows XP Pro login screen. I cannot get to any of my programmes to do any changes. Please help me. I have no rescue discs for this laptop.I do have rescue discs for my main PC Would these work? Thanks |

See if this allows you to log on with out prompting for a password. If it does then I'd uninstall Kaspreski and just to be safe, use System Restore (under system tools) to reset your PC back to the last restore point prior to the installation of this software. | Bam_Bam (7437) | ||
