| 400741 | 2005-10-31 21:02:00 | First I get food poisoning (dodgy prawn) and spend the weekend in bed, then last night, while watching TV in th front of the house with the missus, some swine jumps the back fence, in through the bedroom window and makes off with my camera bag containing all my gear, including a brand new lens which relatives had donated money for on my birthday. I's jsut like to say, to all petty theives everywhere, that you are the scum of the earth and I hope you all fry in hell. |

| 400746 | 2005-10-31 22:09:00 | Sorry to hear that Bruce. I spend my days seeing the results of those 'petty thieves' and pretty much agree that they should be given a very warm reception at a barbecue in their honour  They do it for money, have no conscience and couldn't give a toss about the people they target. |

| 400747 | 2005-10-31 22:27:00 | Are they that cheeky in your neighbourhood or did someone know/guess that you had a bag of camera gear worth taking? A cheeky professonal thief I'd say. They only went into that room and they only took stuff that was easy to dispose of. Took the cash out of my wallet, but left my credit cards. left passports. Grabbed my wife's bag, I assume without looking inside (wallet, keys, cellphone) and grabbed the two camera bags from the wardrobe. Wham bam over and out. Bet they weren't in there for more than minute. Even more ironic is that I'm currently reviewing the Canon EOS 1D Mak IIN and it was sitting in the kitchen where they didn't go. Even more more ironic is that that was where my camera had been sitting the past couple of weeks until I had a fit of domestic guilt and decided to tidy up my stuff yesterday. If I hadn't, all they would have got was three comparatively cheap lenses, instead of my camera and brand new (3 days old!!!!) Sigma lens that my relatives had contributed money for as a birthday present. Bring back hard labour, I say. |
