They're faster, quieter, cooler, and larger capacity than the older Raptors that you ordered. :p ] Just changed my order. Replaced 2 150 gig raptors with One 300 gig veloci. Price per gig is about the same. |

| 675714 | 2008-06-08 21:44:00 | June 17th for nVidia GTX280/260 (8 days) June 23rd for ATi 4870/4850 (14 days) I would be waiting before ordering those slower outdated last generation overpriced GPU's :) ATI will release the Rv770, and it 'may' have 800SP which would make it extremely competitive, if not then mah, either way 14 days is worth the wait to find out. |

| 675716 | 2008-06-08 23:17:00 | As only a casual gamer, I cant justify the price premium on the top end cards....$400-500+ is just too much for a graphics card considering the fact they are old within 6 months... I do like a little bling though, and reckon the Sparkle Calibre 9600GT is the sexiest graphic card I have seen in a long time....The cooler is just awesome! |

Nvidia have been running basically the same core for around 18 months+ (except for a die shrink), this new core is long overdue. The G92 core should have never been labeled with a 9 series it was a marketing ploy. Bottom line the smart people are waiting :) |

Ever heard of Moore's Law? If you disagree so be it. Not about to argue as it's irrelevant to the thread. |

If you disagree so be it. Not about to argue as it's irrelevant to the thread. Its hard not to flame you but i will try. Specifically the next 'true' generations are released in about 8 and 14 days which is a very short wait. Anyone suggesting to buy now because "There's always something new just around the corner" is misguided and its utter rubbish advice to boot. |
