Roman Candle duels are good times - they have been made safe enough that if they do burn you, it will be a very minor burn & if you are drunk you won't even feel it. |

| 400213 | 2005-10-30 06:54:00 | I was 30 feet from the guy killed by a wayward skyrocket at the Wanganui Speedway a few years ago..... And a few years ago in Queensland (were fireworks are banned) me and a buddy let off a few extra large double happies and the neighbours (about 600m away) rang the cops, reported screaming, arguing, drinking and GUNFIRE......and in reality it was just the 2 of us,sitting on the proch, drinking a few cold ones and throwing fireworks onto the lawn. Anyhow, Cops decended in large numbers, guns drawn, The tactical squad were marking us with rifles, all hell broke loose. Gave us quite a start...... ......we saw them making their way through the bush to get into position and we called them out, 3 seconds later they sparng into action, had us bundled up on the lawn, hand cuffed, knees on our backs, with guns pointing at us. |

In ireland our standard fare was quarter sticks of Dynamite and big black cat bangers for noise with some GREAT exploding rockets, not the puny fare you get here! however, there is one shop called golden dragon (i think) on hobson st where u can get the mean exploders and make all your neighbours look like foolish whimps!! Get some party next door fireworks and I guarantee you'll have the loudest and best in the neighbourhood.. forget the puny warehouse crap!! | Marko123 (9165) | ||
