| 676383 | 2008-06-07 11:04:00 | Over the last few days, emails sent to my domain based email address (hosted with iServe), have from people who are using Xtra/yahoos mailservers to send their been delayed by 6 hours to 24 hours. Anyone else having the same problem with receiving delayed emails at the moment? Emails from other ISPs are coming through fine, and are not delayed. |

| 676385 | 2008-06-08 03:05:00 | Yep, 12 hour delays in some cases. Thanks for replying. Are you also with iServe? I can't find any reports about this problem on the internet, which is odd. I am not sure if it is an iServe problem, or an xtra problem. I assume it is an Xtra problem, but due to the lack of news about it on the internet, or am not so sure. |

| 676386 | 2008-06-08 18:34:00 | It is an Xtra problem as the headers of the emails show clearly when the message was received by the various mail servers. Not sure if it is still happening but this was the situation on Friday anyway. |

I have found using smtp.xtra.co.nz (the old settings) seems to work a lot of the time, and it also seems to be quicker, sending and to actually send to the recipient. If your not using those settings, wouldn't hurt to try. :) |
