| 401939 | 2005-11-05 09:01:00 | if they do selling firework, and the government should introduce on the legislation in regards that fireworks should only be blownat the open area like beaches or park, not at the residential area. as you know those sounds from those fireworks is so annoying... firework supposed to be looking beautiful, not having competition who wins on banging sounds |

| 401941 | 2005-11-05 09:45:00 | Why do we even have Guy Fawkes in NZ?? Guy Fawkes was a dude who tried to blow up parliament in England. How is that some thing to celebrate?? How is that relevant to NZ?? In today’s world Guy Fawkes would be called a terrorist. How about in 50 years we have a 9/11 day where we all build big towers of cards and then shoot skyrockets at them to knock them down?? Would that be a bit politically incorrect?? Would that be a touch irrelevant for NZ to cerebrate?? in today’s world Guy Fawkes seems to be all about getting drunk and blowing s#!t up, if that what you want to do then join the army. |

The most interesting thing is the pressf1 poll as Yes Should Fireworks Sales Be Banned is now at 54.55% of people who voted say they should be which sucks :( & no Fireworks Sales should not be Banned is at 45.45% |

Would be a shame, Turn our entire country into the most boring place on earth at some stage.Whats next?, dirt bikes?, Oh wait, they are trying to do that as well. I've been seeing them going off through the night, covering the skyline above Wanganui. And glorious it has been indeed, a celerbration for the flimsiest reason, and well worth it. Perhaps Iran has room for those who wish to live in a country where your every move is regulated. I would take a life with colour, even if , Nay, especially if it comes with some digree of risk. |
