1427905 2016-10-27 03:21:00 For the past while update KB3194798 has been failing every time I turn on my PC. Is there anyway to stop windows 10 from incessantly trying to run this update? Slankydudl (16687)

MILLIONS of others don't have any problems what so ever.

Then again others make their own problems and are the actual cause.

And millions do, which shows the quality of the product.

By your own admission your W10 is damaged, and for what ever reason you wont fix it, and then your other half gets annoyed and turns it off because its taking to long causing even more problems.

SWMBO couldn’t use her computer for 5 hours whilst Win10 updated so she ignored the instructions, had a hissy fit, and turned it off and back on again only to get a message that Win10 update was trying to recover and complete the update.
The latest update which I put through 5 computers yesterday, the longest took 20 minutes.
If its taking a long time, its either very low powered or theres an underlying problem.

I'm still trying to figure out why you wont do the right thing and fix it ?
