1427872 2016-10-26 19:27:00 Hi,

First, I'm not a Mac User, but have been given a task I am stumped with:

I have a series of folders within Mac Mail that contain emails with attachments. I have to move all of the emails with attachments to different folders within "Finder" (Macs equivalent of Windows Explorer) for archiving. Naturally if it was Windows I could just drop and drag, but can't seem to do this with Mac.

I have HEAPS to so and if I am forced to save each email as a .pdf and shift each attachment separately, this will take forever.

Can someone advise the most simplest way to do this. Batch export process? Please don't tell me this isn't possible when its so easy on a PC.cdn.pressf1.pcworld.co.nz

Standing by, Cheers, Apo

1427873 2016-10-26 20:09:00 I'm not a MAC user, so no idea if the following will work or not, cant even test it as I dont have access to a MAC.

If you google "MAC move emails to finder" you'll get quite a few suggestions what look they should work.

One is apple.stackexchange.com Its several years old.

Or maybe computing.physics.harvard.edu

Hopefully one of the MAC users in the form will see your question if it doesn't.

1427874 2016-10-26 20:29:00 Thanks Wainuitech,

Tried both those options but it doesn't work.

Mac's are held up as wonder devices but can't even do simple operations like drag and drop and email from Mail into a 'Window Explorer' type folder. Go figure?

Someone must know the easiest way to do this... PLEEEESEEE!!!!!
