1427519 2016-10-15 02:05:00 This should be an easy one.
After recent updates some of the win 10 systems here are showing the lock screen, resuming from sleep.
Just push enter & it goes to desktop, but how do I get rid of it?
There is no password anyway.

1427520 2016-10-15 02:16:00 Try this, in search type Lock Open lock screen settings, down the bottom are options. Select Screen timeout settings - change to Never:

7573

That's how mine are set, only time I get the lock Screen is when starting and have to enter a password.

Mind you, mine never go to sleep, so maybe just disable it all together ( first Picture - move slider to Off)

1427521 2016-10-15 02:53:00 Problem with that is I want them sleep.
Some people just walk away & leave them.
Yes can turn off the pretty picture, just get a plain logon screen then.

Surely I'm not the only one bugged by this.

Have another look at Wainuitech's post#2. The first picture. Turn the slider "Show lock screen" to off.
That gets rid of the lock screen without any effect on how you have sleep set to operate.

1427524 2016-10-15 23:43:00 Thanks Clive.

But that just turns off the picture & the lock screen then shows as plain Blue

1427525 2016-10-15 23:56:00 Then you have some other problem. I have tested it on my PC and if the Lock screen is turned off it totally disappears either on startup or when waking up from sleep. Win10 pro 64bit all up to date. CliveM (6007)
1427526 2016-10-15 23:56:00 Looks like it has got a lot harder with the anniversary update.

Thats what I'm talking about.
Perhaps it dosent effect all systems.
But there are three systems here with the issue.
I've tried the fix on one system & it's partially cured.
I'll do the others later & see how that goes.
