1427355 2016-10-13 04:47:00 Everything was ok - but then I fiddled some more...

When I start Firefox, I get a message that some sites are insecure. And then at the top of some pages I get:

Warning: Declaration of vBForum_Item_SocialGroupMessage::getLoadQuery() should be compatible with that etc etc.

I've run out of ideas! How do I 'sort' it please?

1427356 2016-10-13 04:53:00 Warning: Declaration of vBForum_Item_SocialGroupMessage::getLoadQuery() should be compatible with that etc etc. That sounds like a server side error (PHP to be precise). Nothing you can do about those except contact the website owner. pcuser42 (130)
1427357 2016-10-13 04:57:00 Yes, and everything was ok just five minutes before. I stuffed up with something, so had to reinstall my bookmarks etc.

It is Facebook (the pictures - but I can get them if I open them in a new page - a bit tedious), and some 'funny looking' Our Network's Top Stories at the bottom of Stuff's Homepage.

Huh, strange...

Can you provide a screenshot?

1427359 2016-10-13 08:47:00 Sorry - I have gone back to IE, after uninstalling/reinstalling Firefox a couple of times with no change. IE is just fine just now. So - thanks, but I'll tackle this again another time.

At least I have reliable internet access again (which I certainly didn't have for a while).

1427360 2016-10-13 19:21:00 Just thinking (always dangerous..). I have uninstalled/reinstalled Firefox a few times, with no change.

I have just had a look in the Registry, there is a Mozilla entry there - is that where I need to do an edit (carefully, with your support, of course!)? Your thoughts would be welcome. :)

1427361 2016-10-13 19:52:00 Do you backup Firefox with Mozbackup?

If you do I would uninstall Firefox with Revo uninstaller to rid it of everything(Registry items included)

Reinstall Firefox and restore your config/favorites using Mozbackup

1427362 2016-10-13 19:56:00 Ok - that sounds a safe way of doing things. Thanks for that (but I was looking forward to delving into the Registry...). R.M. (561)
1427363 2016-10-13 21:10:00 Ok - I tried that, using the most comprehensive option. But I still get this:

7558

So the problem is still there.

1427364 2016-10-13 21:44:00 Is it something to do with Firefox accounts?
