1427083 2016-10-08 20:19:00 Hi All.
I am sure I have asked this question before but cannot find it in "Search".
In outlook down the left hand side are folders that I can move an email to, peoples names. When I want to move a new name it tries to join an existing name. I cannot work out how to start a new name folder. Thanks. PJ

1427084 2016-10-08 20:52:00 To make a new folder in your list, lets say you want a new folder off the inbox - right click the inbox / left click new Folder - name it what ever you want.

If you want a new folder separate to another group ( like the inbox) then right click your account name / new folder - Name it.

1427085 2016-10-08 20:55:00 Open Outlook, click the little down arrow next to "New" it's at the top left. You'll get a dropdown menu, choose "Folder". Create new folder window will open, Give it a name and then save it.

This works in Outlook MS Office 2007, if you have a more recent version I'm sure it will be similar.

1427086 2016-10-08 21:17:00 PJ has office 365 (2016) from memory. That option in Outlook 2007 is long gone /changed. wainuitech (129)
