| 1426974 | 2016-10-06 06:47:00 | So our 2yo got hold of wife's phone today and bought an add-on pack for one of the games on her phone... costing $50!! Contacted the game developer who responded (very promptly) that they were happy to refund, but couldn't do it directly for purchases via Windows - that we had to contact MS directly. Said they could only do Google play refunds directly (something about how they connect to the app-store backend). I've been round and round the MS support site trying to find a way to actually contact them. Got a "Virtual Agent" who suggested I talk to a person, but when I clicked that it just sent me back to the Windows phone support page. I found something about in-app purchases but that just took me to old Microsoft answers page from 4 or 5 years ago with out-of-date links. Any suggestions on how I can actually contact someone that might be of use to try to get a refund? $50 is a lot of a bunch of virtual game items :( Cheers, Mike. |
