1426964 2016-10-05 09:19:00 Got an old guy who bought an Android tablet and wants to print to his HP Deskjet printer. I have always had issue printing from various brands and models printers with tablets and use Google Cloud Print whenever possible as it just works.

I have never found an easy way to print using manufactures plugins. Maybe just me.

Anyway his printer is not cloud print compatible so used the HP Print Plugin and can find the printer and print from Gallery and some apps. But he uses the android mail app and there is no option to print. Not sure why but wondering what experiences other have had?

I am at the stage of using Gmail app and POP his Spark email but that didn't show the print option either. Not as a drop down option or under sharing.

Other thing he has Gallery set with Albums but when he gets a picture attached from email the only option is to save and it defaults to a downloads folder. The pictures shows in Gallery but there seems no easy way to move to another gallery.

I can do it using file explorer but to hard for this older guy. Any recommended app for moving pictures between albums easily?

Cheers

1426965 2016-10-05 19:45:00 I use a Nexus 9" tablet, the latest Android version, and the HP printing app. I have 2 POP mail accounts and 2 Gmail accounts. Instead of using the Android mail app I use AquaMail Pro. Once it is set up, it checks all 4 accounts with one click. I can print individual emails from AquaMail Pro.

There is a menu option for Copy/Send/Share/Print that leads you to your printing options. It only gives the option of Google Cloud Print, not the HP e-print app. However there is another sub menu called Send/Share/Print message text where you get a lot of options, including HP e-print if it is installed.

The developer of AquaMail is very responsive if you have a problem (I have only had cause to contact him once when a new version of webview broke things and he had a quick solution).
