1424948 2016-08-25 00:51:00 Connect 2 extra 4 pin fans to them?? And would you still get PWM??

Would it kill the fan header?? There's 2 separate 4 pin headers. So I wont be connecting 2 extra fans to the one header

There are 2 fans connected to the 2 4 pin headers already. One at the front and back of this case.

But I may connect 2 more 4 pins to the side of the case

Hopefully you can, because I've just ordered 2 more from the UK on Ebay (the same place I brought the 2 fans that are in the case already)

If not they'll have to go in the other case. But without PWM

1424950 2016-08-25 05:07:00 Thats the one. I was going to get a hub. But most of them have 3-4 + connections. I only need 2 Speedy Gonzales (78)
1424951 2016-08-25 20:41:00 Can't complain about the price when they look to be hard to source here after having a quick look Lawrence (2987)
1424952 2016-08-25 21:53:00 Yup they're about the same price on ebay.com.au. That's why I get things on there. A lot cheaper than here. The 2 120mm fans I got off Ebay were only $26.

Dont think you can get 2 4 pin fans for that price here.

And the TPM 2 module, got it off there because it's not here. Because if you're still using TPM 1.2 with Win10 AU, it'll crash on you.

1424953 2016-08-26 00:40:00 Should be ok, I'd expect only one of the fans should be connected to the sense wire to report fan speed back to the board but whoever makes the splitters should know that.
PWM should be fine as well.

Why so many fans? doing some hardcore Computing?

I find 2 fans to be plenty in my gaming rig, 14cm rear and 12cm front, both idling along silently. I think I can fit 6 or 7 if I wanted to, but there's no need.
I've dabbled with side fans occasionally but they don't help much unless you have dual graphics cards and make taking the side off a nuisance. Also fan slots in Perspex windows can be incredibly noisy if shaped wrong.
One of my old cases had horizontal slots laser cut for a side fan and shaped to look cool - any airflow at all and it became the loudest part of the PC, even with fans that I can't hear on the regular case fan positions.

1424954 2016-08-26 00:57:00 lol wouldnt call it hardcore. The case supports 4 fans so why not. Thats about the only thing left, that I can put in the case now. There's only 1 5.25 bay (it's MATX).

And nothing else. So I cant put any 3.5 whatever in the front, there's nothing there.

There are no games whatsoever on it.

Looks like the cable Lawrence posted. 1 plugs into the header the other 2 to 2 fans?

But then how exactly would I plug the cpu fan into something? Or one of the fans that are in the case already to something? If I use a splitter and plug it into its header?

A hub maybe better (even if there's too many connections on it)

If I changed my mind anyway, I'll chuck them in the other case here

1424955 2016-08-26 01:38:00 You said you already have the front and rear fans using 1 header each, just split them both and feed one of the new fans off each of those along with the existing ones. Shouldn't need to touch the CPU header.
Or if the cables reach feed the front and rear off one header and the side 2 off the other.

Personally when adding more fans than I have headers for I prefer to use quiet 3 pin fans for the case and feed them off Molex adapters, cheap & simple.

Remember the days when a single 8cm exhaust fan was all we used, an most PCs didn't even bother with that :) The first time I saw a case with a 12cm rear fan it seemed huge.

I use mATX as well and I fluked a good design this time round as it's basically silent despite an overclocked i7 and a GTX 980 and perfectly good temperatures.

1424956 2016-08-26 02:12:00 I hate molex lol. Bloody things had a habit of coming out all the time.

I'll figure it out somehow. There's not a lot in the case now. Just the ssd and dvd (Think I'll replace this with one of those 5.25 bay card readers. Since I've never used it)

And a modular. Too bad the other pcs here dont have modular. It makes it a lot tidier and easier to hide everything
