2016-08-24 03:25:00 | Ex-BBC boss says firing Clarkson was a huge mistake. (www.msn.com) By now, we all know why the BBC fired Jeremy Clarkson. The man punched producer Oisin Tymon in the face because there wasn't any hot food ready after a long day of filming. It's unfortunate for fans of Top Gear, but you can't go around hitting people and expect it to be OK. Despite the incident, former BBC boss Mark Thompson feels it was a huge mistake for the BBC to let Clarkson go. The article has some good news at the end. I know I'll be watching for it!

2016-08-24 06:04:00 | Top Gear has been abysmal without him, Chris Evans was a total joke, though I really quite enjoyed Matt le Blanc. Can't wait for The Grand Tour to come out!! | Chilling_Silence (9) | |
2016-08-24 06:13:00 | But the bigger question is: Is this gonna be a special (read: one) show only? Will it have the same old format? You know - the one that WORKED? C'mon BBC Pagliaccis......get your bean counters out of programming and scheduling. Pay off the slugging lawsuit and get 'er on!

Before he was fired, some were saying the fab 3 needed to be swapped out for fresh faces : well we saw how that worked out I guess The current TG wasnt too bad (not great), and seemed to be improving . Plenty of worse Clarkson TG episodes |

2016-08-24 23:34:00 | Some TGT previews out now www.independent.co.uk and it looks like its a series (as expected) www.stuff.co.nz "The first episode of Jeremy Clarkson's The Grand Tour has been filmed in a plush tent in the hills of overlooking Johannesburg, South Africa." I'll guess, a series of adventures, rather than a true car show ?
