1424709 2016-08-21 04:11:00 I'm using Verbatim M-discs. Verbatim caution against using paper sleeves, but jewel cases are too thick and take up too much space. 10mm vs 2mm for a sleeve

My research says Tyvek sleeves (made by Dupont) should be OK. A microfibre, breathable, high density polyethylene I think

Anyone know where to get them in NZ or overseas?

1424710 2016-08-21 04:29:00 Try printers or their suppliers, or building suppliers eg Mitre10 or Placemakers for the material, though i doubt they'll do actual sleeves. Greg (193)
1424711 2016-08-21 05:30:00 Brilliant suggestion

Since it's an archive it doesn't need easy access so a square of material between each disc should be fine

Now why didn't I think of that...

1424712 2016-08-21 05:51:00 yep but min size roll would be 1350x18.5m probably around $70 gary67 (56)

1424714 2016-08-21 07:01:00 Corporate stationery suppliers will have polypropylene or PE fibre wraps (i.e. Double Sided Ring binder CD/DVD storage sleeves). I think are equivalent to Dupont. I used to order single sleeves from Corporate Express (Now Staples NZ (staplesadvantage.co.nz/)). But OfficeMax has the 4x double sided Ring Binder USA Fellowes (http:) brand here. 1424715 2016-08-21 09:33:00 I bought a pack of 100 ring binder style sleeves that fit 2 Disks each from PB tech years ago and have been using them ever since. Never needed more as I periodically throw away a lot of outdated stuff.
