2016-08-17 00:38:00 | When I hover my cursor over some links, a lot of screen space is taken up by a box containing a lot of garbage with "Click or tap link" at the bottom. Often this box almost covers the link I am trying to click on. Is there any way I can prevent this box from showing up? | Richard (739) | |

2016-08-17 02:32:00 | For a better answer : what browser , what webpages(give examples), what links could be : malware on the PC could be : AV browser addon or AV internet protection addon could be : some browser addon Try Firefox with ghostery & Adblocker addons . That blocks alot of 'stuff'

2016-08-17 03:33:00 | W10 Version 1607 Build 14363.51, Edge browser, Adblock Plus enabled. At the moment the only sites I can find doing this are Neighbourly.co,nz and Valued Opinions.co.nz both viewed in Mail. | Richard (739) | |

Don't have either of those pages in my account, BUT what you can try, along the bottom left, next to the smiley face is a cog, that's the settings, click it, and a list of options opens on the right, scroll through those may be a setting you can disable, thinking something like a preview ? 7356 |

2016-08-17 05:21:00 | OK its webmail . what webmail provider ? I'll make some assumptions here .... (outlook.com?) simple answer : free webmail can have bundled adds embedded in there. either dont use webmail , or go move to gmail , our sign up for the paid version that might not have ads... again, more info needed (above) thats how they make money from the free email, they put adverts in there. (an assumption) or, it may be bogus emails that you shouldnt be opening .

2016-08-17 05:22:00 | Those aren't exactly websites, they are E-mails with embedded links and outlook is showing you the whole link when you hover over it. I'd consider that a good thing personally from a security point of view. | dugimodo (138) | |
2016-08-17 21:50:00 | ...... and outlook is showing you the whole link when you hover over it.... isnt that just as bad as fully opening it or actually clicking the link ? Auto-preview in email was a genuine security risk some years back, not sure if it still is. regardless, looked like spam to me. Should just be deleted
