| 1425333 | 2016-10-03 00:24:00 | Sorry KC, I'm new to it myself so I haven't looked into that. I would guess that apsattv would be able to answer this though. Kodi isn't really intuitive... If others want to set up Kodi on Android, I found the app "Complete Kodi Setup Wizard" very helpful for setting things up on my Nexus 9" tablet. It is available from the Google Playstore. There are other set up helpers there, but this is the one I chose. I found it easier to set up Kodi on my laptop, but by then I had already grappled with it on Android. I use Chromecast at home, usually from my tablet rather than my laptop. Kodi doesn't cast in its standard form "out of the box" - it has to be modified. I notice that the Complete Kodi Setup Wizard has an option to do this for you, or it can talk you through doing it yourself. That is my next project when I get home. There are heaps of text and YouTube tutorials on the 'net that talk you through most of the things you need to know, such as installing AddOns such as a Playlist Loader. |
