1427457 2016-10-15 01:02:00 The link provided -- Yes it is coming, the public build is quite a way behind to what is available to insiders.

In bold are the numbers that relate.

The public build number you will have is 14393.xxx

The build that has the altered options with old removals not reappearing is build 14926 onwards, the current insider build is 14946.
As of right now ( 2.00pm Saturday) the latest Microsoft Build is 14950.

To answer the question
so how long will it be before I can start uninstalling the rubbish without wasting my time by having them put it back?
Your guess is as good as mine for public release, If I could predict that I'd win Lotto :)
Insider builds - already got it.

Not all builds get released to Insiders - here's the complete build list, along with dates created. The following link: buildfeed.net

Note: the current public build 14393.321 is currently on page 2.

1427459 2016-10-15 11:27:00 Haven't seen this mentioned here, perhaps it will assist those struggling with unruly Win10 updates:

Wainui, do you know if build 14926 will be the next release or are there several to precede it?

And, will 14926 install everything and then give me the right of choice in subsequent updates, or, will there be a choice in the initial download?

Just no point in me having a big clean-out only to have them put it all back.

1427462 2016-10-15 22:54:00 The active hours timing only allows one to set a 12 hr block.I think one of the changes in a recent insider build is to change the block to up to 18 hours - I'm sure Wainuitech will correct me if I'm wrong. :) Tony (4941)

If you look at the bottom chart (1607), the base build is 14393 with cumulative updates altering the last numbers. So the last numbers will change with updates , the base should stay the same 14939

There's been a few rumors as to what build , and we all know how they work ;)

BUT just looking on the insider, there was a post stating 1703 "may" be the release in March 2017. 17 = 2017 March = 03. So it could be 1703 (build ????.????)

Interesting though, all the links are dead  "maybe" Microsoft has told the sites to remove them ???
