| 1427365 | 2016-10-14 00:12:00 | Yes - maybe. But why does it have to be so complicated? When I try to login to Sync, it tells me I am not connected to the Internet! Quite apparently I am - in that I can move onto requested sites that are up-to-date... Or does it mean that in that dialogue box (Sign into Sync) I am not? Don't know! |

| 1427366 | 2016-10-14 04:52:00 | Is it something to do with Firefox accounts? developer.mozilla.org Ive got a little website and Firefox wouldnt even let me in the other day so I got hold of OpenHost who host it. It seems that Firefox now, and Chrome shortly, are going to block any Site without a Security Certificate. $60 odd dollars later the impasse has been resolved, I have a Certificate and normal transmission has been restored. Heres one of the many E-Mails from OpenHost. Thank you for writing in Upon checking the screenshots, I found that you are trying to access the website using https. Please note that in order to access the website using https (i.e secure connection), you need to purchase a SSL certificate. SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is the standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a web server and a browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the web server and browsers remain private and integral. You may refer our website to know more about SSL certificates. www.openhost.co.nz However, accessing the website with http is resolving without any issues. You may refer the following screenshot to confirm the same. I hope this helps So it looks like some Browsers are raising the bar to try and stop some of the Hanky-panky? |
