1425345 2016-09-03 21:19:00 As you've discovered, that's why...
Try this, it's the lightest / fastest, and gives the least amount of false-positives:
chrome.google.com

Been running Ublock on FF for about a year works very well

Indeed. I've used a bunch and settled on this too, far more than all the others it simply "just works"! :) Plus it's fast... The benchmarks on the plugin page show well just how good it is.

Just discovered this recently, after finding out that Ad-block+ announced it was to replace blocked ads with its own selected ads.

1425350 2016-09-15 02:58:00 I havent used ad-block for a couple years (using Ghostery) - I would say a lot more would now stop using Ad-block as well
Probably should change the name.....

Popular browser extension Adblock Plus announced today that it has started its own ad network called Acceptable Ads Platform, or APP.

But wait, you ask, aren't ad blockers supposed to block ads, not serve them?

Yes, but Adblock Plus doesn't see ads as the enemy. Instead, the company views bad, intrusive advertising as its real nemesis.

"The Acceptable Ads Platform helps publishers who want to show an alternative, nonintrusive ad experience to users with ad blockers by providing them with a tool that lets them implement Acceptable Ads themselves,"

I just disabled UBlock on FF today & went back to ghostery

On pressf1 forums, today, ublock was having issues/slowdowns with a facebook connector the pressf1 seems to have added to its site (the F top RHS)
