2016-08-23 22:26:00 | There is little doubt that Cronyism is rife within the National Goverment. And to go with the Cronyism, they have promoted Separatism to all new heights. If that isnt enough, they are not prepared to govern, even on simple matters like Easter Trading Hours, and are trying to offload that onto Local bodies. The Country desperately needs a Statesman to lead, but where well find him eludes me.

2016-08-23 22:32:00 | Anyway there is no doubt that National are corrupt, Shonkey has less moral compass than Trump. yes, everything is John Keys fault and yet, "He first made headlines for his links to the previous Labour government and the decision to give him a New Zealand passport, despite having multiple identities and an Interpol alert against his name." "Former Labour Minister Shane Jones overruled the advice of DIA officials, who said Yan did not meet the good character test for citizenship, following lobbying from Dover Samuels, a Labour MP at the time." Obviously a Nat party issue :banana

2016-08-23 22:34:00 | The most likely reason why the case didn't go to court is that prominent politicians and business men would have had their names dragged through the court, with possible charges of corruption to follow. After all you can't money launder in a vacuum, you need other parties involved. Our MSM is so piss poor that I doubt there will be any serious investigative journalism into this scandal, and even if anyone tried, no doubt the hard word would be put on them from above. 1101: you obviously didn't read the link I posted earlier : www.nzherald.co.nz not just Labour

2016-08-24 00:08:00 | Mea culpa...........the Liu in the photograph and link I gave is not the same as the "Bill Liu" this thread refers to, though both Lius are in the link. Somewhat confusing. | Terry Porritt (14) | |

Somewhat confusing. You are not kidding. And call me Old Fashioned, but I figure that if you need four aliases its a dead giveaway youre up to no good. The Herald this morning revealed William Yan - also known as Bill Liu, Yang Liu and Yong Ming Yan Poor credentials for doing business by my standards. |

2016-08-24 03:24:00 | FTFY Uh huh, and who granted citizenship originally? Wasn't National you moronic twit. Shonkey has less moral compass than Trump. What a load of drivel. Only the most blind of Key haters would claim that.

2016-08-24 21:04:00 | Never mind the Labour guy granting citizenship and Key not wanting to extradite him. The point was he bribed the cops to not be prosecuted. Not the govt. Apparently if you pay enough, that's OK.
