| 676968 | 2008-06-09 23:42:00 | I have an HP 1180C Deskjet which is set up with A3 paper as the default size. All programs recognise this apart from Adobe Reader which resets it somehow to A4 size. So whenever I receive a pdf that is A3 size I have to go into printer properties and reset the size back to A3. Very frustrating. I've always had this problem but have finally had enough! Should I be looking at another free pdf reader? Suggestions? Any help greatfully accepted. |

| 676972 | 2008-06-10 01:38:00 | Tried online help. Tried Adobe knowledgebase. Adobe forum users have also had similar problems but no one has solved it. Press F1 usually works when all else fails!! | ecurb (3669) | ||
| 676973 | 2008-06-10 02:12:00 | Easy Way to see if its the reader, download Foxit Reader (www.filehippo.com) - thats the free version, so it wont cost anything and wont hurt to try it and see if it works any better for your needs. | wainuitech (129) | ||
| 676974 | 2008-06-10 03:00:00 | Yeah, it worked fine with Foxit thanks. So the problem is definitely Adobe Reader. Foxit looks OK but units are in inches which is a nuisance for me and looking at their site it doesn't look like it can be changed! | ecurb (3669) | ||
